khaaye...kha lhyang ... i wonder what will happen.... que sera sera.... whatever will be, will be ; that seems to be the answer. everyday morning i wake up for another day on planet earth. life has set into routine, morning tea, newspaper, ablutions and then rush thru breakfast.  the day actually begins for me when i enter office and sit in front of my computer. thats when i start being myself, my e mails, my blog, my favourite web sites. its like till then i was just bootstrapping myself and now all my programs have come alive. if i wasn't living in these times, i wonder what drab life would have been :)

Yesterday was the official start of the fall season... and we have begun to feel it.. its been suddenly a little chill even during the day... time to get the jackets and turtle necks out... thoughts of snowfall send a shiver down the spine... i am sure we will have plenty of snow this fall... another ski trip on hand.. umm... getting used to Boston traffic... today was the first day I drove out to work... wasnt all that bad... traffic here is horrofic... nothing I am used to... I miss Birmingham streets... its so much nosier and crowded here... perks of being in a big city... it does remind of delhi a little bit... horns blowing all over the place... baseball is at the peak of its season and with 8 more games to go to decide on who goes to the play off... and it will be helluva 8 days... to top it off the last three games is against the yankees.. hmm... everyone is at the edge of their seats with Yankess leading with half game to lead the division.. watchin animal planet at the moment... rattle snakes on screen.. i hate reptiles... scared.. ya i m .. hehe.. good nite folks...

just got back from work.. and kinda worn out.. did some extra hours today.. there is a park right infront of our house here in boston and some guys are belting out hip hop from their car stereo and the funny thing is that the tune is an old hindi movie tune.. have heard couple of them lately.. mixed very nicely though.. thanks for the suggestions db hya... i have been out of touch with writing for a while and had been thinking of getting a blog but then thought should use the forum instead.. i would urge others to do the same as the site has access to a wide range of visitiors.. simply create a new topic under ur name and post messages under ur particular forum space every time u need to jot down... anil ur hair isnt all that bad at the moment.. get a pony bro.. this may be ur last chance to get one... i am done with mine for good.. ciao..

Its surprisingly a little hot today.. looks like the warm air is here to stay for a while now after some chilly days.. Just got back from Harvard Square where I was supposed to meet Ganesh for my little shopping for a jacket(winter is coming) and his big shopping for his fashi... but he never showed up.. looks like he decided to stay a little longer in the gym... so I ended up going around alone and getting some latte in au bon pain (its a famous cafe here in Boston.. and u r sure to meet some nepalis all the time.. some working.. some chilling..) got bored and was lucky enough to get the bus right on time.. another thing i have been putting off lately is a hair cut.. and as i had feared while getting the big hair cut a month back.. its time for another hair cut.. it sure does feel nice with short hair(specially when u need a quick shower).. but having to cut it every 3-4 weeks is sure a pain... i think i will get it next week.. its not too bad at the moment though... Gopal is back from his opening gig in deepak bajracharya's (nepali pop artist touring usa) concert in new york... lets go and halla him... but first lets grab a donut and do the dishes from last night... that should be exciting... and oh yeah... kavita has never been interested in baseball and sumit is too dukhi with his school and work that he seldom gets a chance to watch the game... Very Happy peace..

Boston..

Currently in Boston... its been a month since I moved over to the North East... enjoying the Red Sox – New York Yankees rivalry (it reminds me of the Indo-Pak cricket matches).. every game is so intense and it makes it all the more exciting… the baseball season is at its peak and the two arch nemesis are clashing for dominance in the league with the series drawn to 1-1 at the moment… nothing can be said even with Sox leading the league with four games… So much for the baseball… but that’s all I have done since I have moved to Boston… sure the bug catches you real fast.. but what would you expect when six out of eight of your room-mates are Red Sox fanatics… trust me it gets so much harder to stay out of the thrill… Recent move to Boston has surely taken a toll on the site as I haven’t been able to devote time to the site and for sometime there was almost a lull on updates… but we sure had a lot of fantastic pictures coming in every now and then… Job hunt so far me has been really frustrating but I think its one of those stages where you have to learn to accept what you have in front of you and make the very best of it… but it sure has been constantly bothering me… but at times I tend not to think about it too much.. most of us have gone through that feeling… Since I was the only one at home today with the weekend off I made some chicken curry and regular daal chawal… well I tried… I never seem to get better on cooking… Anyways I better go down and eat cause I m simply starving… Catch ya later…
