Everytime I go home the biggest ting I miss is internet access..coupled with lack of electricity as well. I dont miss television or mobile phones etc when I am in Roong or any of our villages. With the formation of pahadi state I was hoping that world would change for us sooner than later.. but later seems to be true as mobile services and internet services are tied to government's ignorant and whimisical policies. Now Nepal government alongwith ADB seems to be trying to make internet reach the hinterlands. It is written that 38 districts have been selected for this project. Can someone find out if Darchula district made it in the list?

The current market crash has lead to a complete chaos and mayhem among the investors; and the one most affected by it is the small investor. I somewhat believe in the theory of the famous Wall Street investor Peter Lynch. He suggests small investors not to invest in a volatile market (booming or crashing), not to indulge in inter-day trading and not invest at all unless one has got surplus money: or else you might end up losing everything, more than you would ever gain! Analysts have explained the current market crash by the recession in the US, the FIIs withdrawing their money from the developing market(read India) to more stable markets(less risky, developed markets). The crash is also accredited to Hedge funds and other big investors moving out of market after cashing on the big bull run. However, a Fed rate cut(Fed recently announced a 75 basis points cut) meant more money into the US and thus more investment in the markets. But alas, nothing goes by the books in a market. Just look at the clipping below to get an idea of how the markets behav at times, I couldn't keep myself from laughing after having a look at it :).

Once upon a time der ws a kid called "bootstrap".... average built,average looking and average in studies....he ws studing in one of the most cultured school of town (read "shishu mandir") ...@ morning wen he entered into the school he noticed Vasant and Dharmoo laying mat for morning prayer(Vandana)....one of those caught him asked him to help them ..though it ws nt his duty as he ws mere a student...but he did help them irrespective of this wish to go to the class and discuss some television show (read "alif laila") with frnds...his best frnd ws a boy frm "khari gali" gud looking,smart and rich enough to own 3 "chinese pens" while the boy had only "ajanta" pen . Eventually his best frnd ws "adhyakshaya" (school captain)also so he ws role model for that ordinaty boy... there used be "Vandana" (prayer) which lasted for 1.5 hrs including a moral story...all the bhaiya and bahin (oops....but these wer the terms we r suppose to use for others ;)) all kids move in disciplined way to their class....in class bootstrap spotted a new gal (new admission,he supposed) fair n beautiful... Tak tak ... cupid hit him... he felt gud and went to his seat after being bitten by love bug... his eyes kept watching her now n then...and heart started singing chartbuster from bollywood..("dekha hai pehli baar...sajan ki aankhon mein pyar....") he wanted to share his feelings wid his frnd but stoped himself as he want some time.....time passed...In interval one of the teacher asked some1 to help the pretty small eyed cute angel to cover up syllabus..... and for this teacher approached his seat....boy ws happy as opportunity was coming on his way..... he started dreaming.....suddenly teacher asked his frnd to help her....oops....but his frnd had better handwriting than him ...so here he realised 1st ever shock in his 1st ever love.. BTW he ws fighter and fighter never quit....he continued dreaming ...but all his hope faded day by day...wen he saw his frnd sharing tiffin.....playing in interval with her....although he can also join all Page3 (smart and chinese pen owner) guys but something stopped him might be his shyness.....times passed and the he started cursing his looks....his family background and most of all his shyness for being hurdle in the way of his love... He dreamt of playing ("ek pakda double chor") sharing tiffin and calculating F.L.A.M.E. with her...but but but.... he felt like a loser...he forgot his first love oops... lemme rephrase it first crush ..... that poor kid ws broken and decided to do something very big in his life....but he alwayz got lesser than he aspire....he is still fighting to carve a niche for himself in this page3 world....lets hope he'll be able to do dis .....

One just cannot see anything!! that's how we define the word black. And the person holding a torch and showing a ray of light seems to be one's God!! that's how we define the God. Whether call it ma "Karama" or "Paapon ki saza" i gotta zilch in ma hand....after 3-4 mnths preparation and lots of dream i suddenly realised that was not enough to be be der.... Ppl around me get that thing so easily so why can't i ...this made me restless in recent dayz....nywayz m looking fwd but still der is confusion like sud i compromise wid ma dream or try once again wahich includes some risk factor as always and time comsumption as well. Chalo Chhaddo yaar.. yesterday Ratan Tata set gr8 exmple of being winner....i knoe 1 lakh car is not a philanthropic venture still try to keep ur promise which u made 4 yr back...n work on it shows his persistence..which is really admirable coz economy and every thing changed drastically but he never let dowm his promise which he made wid country..If this new segment gets approval from"Aam junta" then that can impact severly to two wheelar companies...what i can forsee that students from clleges which consider to be bike or scooty crowd hanging around with friend in this segment car.... Specially when it prove itself as save and durable which everyone concern (frankly no1 is bothered abt environmental issues accept ones who is get paid for it) we see lota of galz roaming around in this car... Nw lookin fwd to see beatiful galz oops car on road...till then ROCK ON

first time i have seen such excitement for a car launch in india. i think even mercedez would envy this much coverage. all news channels today dropped all the other news and covered it live. It started with a small mulitmedia presentation from Ratan Tata. Then they unveiled it. Few details : it is 624 cc in engine, would give mileage of 20KPL. they also say that it has met frontal crash tests and would meet emission standards. as for the name it is called nano. Ratan Tata had a few quips for the name. He said some suggested we should call it Mamta or.. despite Mamta :) ( we all know who this Mamta was meant to be) as for price.. Ratan Tata put his company ethos on the line... saying a promise is a promise. so they have maintained 1 lakh rs. for base model ( that is dealer price.. so add insurance and registration to it) so happy driving folks... dont know if it would go up on our hills .. but better than driving in the rain on a two wheeler!! as for the name my little quip.. i sincerely hope that it would not meet with (hindi) na and (english)no !!
