Rung Mung...where are we??

when we started rung mung we had a lot of enthusiastic volunteers. some are still with us and we have got a lot of new contributors as well to rungmung.net since then. but sadly we have also lost many others to their busy work schedules. conception of rungmung was always as a collective entity and it wasnt to be credited or tagged to individuals or a specific group only. today though bulk of contributions come from small group but principles of this endeavour havent changed yet. it is heartening to see that today's younger generation is very net savvy and in fact we have whole new gamut of things unfloding. i have recently come to know of young rung mung who have thriving orkut community. it is just like when the first yahoogroup was started. today i was chatting pankaj and then i realized that rungmung.net is being perceived as very formal forum or set up and that has kept some of youngsters away. this is an effort to dispel the notions of our youngsters. by comparision i may have graduated to elderly group maybe in last few years but the audience and creative group of rungmung.net is still very young and since this whole platform is based on modern invention we think anyone adapting to it is in sync with changing times and thus can understand the language of today's generation. this i say on behalf of so called elderly people. in one respect only we are maybe a bit formal, that has to do with the language and nature of content which we would like all our contributors and audience to maintain at nauksum level. this i think even youngsters also would agree with as we treat this place as our home and it is responsibility of everyone to keep it clean. one can have clean fun also and it need not be vulgar to be comic or fun. we dont want to act as censor but hope that everyone involved with rungmung would do that from their micro levels. rungmung.net is a platform for every rung, old or young. we are a vehicle and our aim is to carry the collective creative input from every rung. right from the begining we have asked people to come up with their own ideas and we can host them and ideators will be allowed rights to even administer their content but so far we have had a very few takers. scattered efforts will lead to only short term gains and if we dont contribute collectively things will slowly die away... we would keep doing it in our lifetime but it is upto generation next to take the baton and run the miles.. we, if i may speak for the rungmung, are happy to see individual efforts from young rungmung on the net. we would only suggest that when a plaform is already available to concentrate all rung related activities in one place, it is wise and in the larger interest of rungmung to use it as extensively as possible. the space is available, technical expertise in terms of hosting, collective creative group for suggestions and other resoureces are there to help ideas take shape. if anyone has suggestions and some contribution in terms of execution of idea, please come forward... we shall do our best...( if our best is not enough.. i guess we expect better from you to take rungmung.net to next level) pankaj was sharing the idea of their group to come up with a magazene of sorts. i think we really need a good magazene that caters to youngsters as their ideas sometimes are different . we can surely work together and create space for one online magazene for youngsters on the rungmung platform. keep sharing your ideas and maybe we can be of help to you to make your implementation done quickly...

"Kash maine use pehle propose kar diya hota". These lines I generally hear from my friends when they see their (WANTED TO BE) girlfriend dating with someone else.So this write up is dedicated to all those guys who are still waiting for their lady love and for the ones who had allready faced reversals in their love pursuit. So here comes apple theory. Its old but still usefull for the people.[:)] Boys are just like apples in trees. The best ones are at the TOP of the tree. The girls don't want to reach for the good ones becoz they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead they just get rotten apples that are on the ground, that aren't good, but EASY.So the apples at the top think that there is something wrong in them. But in raelity , they are AMAZING.thats why we should be little patient and the RIGHT girl, the ONE who takes chances to find the good right apple will come some day.So guys if you are alone, this means that you are on the top. Just remember one thing, the person whom you love is just like a ROSE ,whose beauty should be admired just by seeing it from a distance. So if you will pluck the rose from its place, it will shrink nd die after sometime.Tats why wait for the right time to come.

No noble prize in mathematics!

In my school days there was a common question. Who is the inventor of zero? Now condition is like this ‘Abey Kaun Tha Yaar Yaad Nahi Aa Raha Hai :)’. No comments against my great college, phew!! I would never forget these 4 years. Oh yes, I was with zero so inventor was ‘Aryabhatta’. Today, I am in this position just because of only mathematics though I found Chemistry was most scoring subject during all engineering entrance examinations. In each and every subject mathematics is needed from Physics to Chemistry, Economics or in Medical as well n so on... Who cares anyway! Although I don’t know anything about mathematics because it is bigger than huge, what is bigger than huge now? :p Those school days equations, formulas are just a base, like 1,2,3.. +,-,..etc. are basic for school days. In 3 semesters I faced mathematics subject, frankly speaking my performance was like just cross the border line, 1 night fight, I used to start the subject when I felt “oh now I should start it”. uff. Any ways, the topic is:: No noble prize in mathematics! ♠ Noble prizes were created by a notable Swedish chemist ‘Alfred Nobel’. ♠ Noble prizes are awarded each year for following category:: literature, physics, chemistry, peace, economics, and physiology & medicine Know it better if you are interested, http://almaz.com/ and choose the option "Why is there no Nobel Prize in Mathematics?" All the information about noble prizes, http://almaz.com/ So one funny answer about the topic is, Prove 3=2 Let me start from -6 = -6 9-15=4-10 adding 25/4 on both the sides (9-15)+(25/4) = (4-10)+(25/4) (3)^2 – 2*3*(5/2)+(5/2)^2 = (2)^2 - 2*2*(5/2) +(5/2)^2 (3-5/2)^2 = (2-5/2)^2 {using by formula [x^2+y^2-2xy=(x-y)^2], here LHS: x=3 n y=(5/2), RHS: x=2 n y=5/2} after taking sq. root on both the sides we get 3-5/2 = 2-5/2 3 = 2 I know this is wrong. (Can you find that? What’s wrong with this solution?) Actually, I was not finding any blog in Jooni section so feel to write here..any ways nothing to think about..juss GO ON..!! Enjoy..!!.. :) Apply Thumb rule n follow the 'just view wala option'. :D

I am sure everyone back in India must have already heard of him... I will be surprised if you still havent.. for myself I am just coming back from one of my friends apartment listening to Rabbi for the first time.. a year after it was released in India.. and for sure I am already a fan..  Punjabi Sufi as it is termed has such soulfulness and tranquility... though the lyrics are in Punjabi one cannot resist humming along.. have never been ardent listener of punjabi tunes but trust me this one is different.. its a self titled album called 'Rabbi' by Rabbi Shergill... One can read more about him here A little sample... tere bin sanu sohnia koi hor nahio labhna jo dave ruh nu sakun chukke jo nakhra mera....
